The type of fabrics is different because of the fabric formation techniques, machinery used for producing them, and finishing techniques.

Each fabric has a unique name for it to be identified among others based on their textures, designs, weaving patterns, aesthetic values, fiber source, the place where the fabrics are originated, etc. we are here to show some of the fabrics, their uses and formation, etc. Below is the knowledge of them.

12.Charmeuse Fabric

Woven Fabric

Charmeuse is a kind of lightweight satin weave fabric, made by 100% silk in the past but generally changes into polyester fiber now. It has smooth touch, elegant sheen, and high drapability, which make the Charmeuse fabric become a wonderful choice for lingerie and elegant evening gowns.

Corduroy is made from main textile fibers with one warp and two fillings.

After it is woven, coat the back of the cloth with glue, then cut the floats of pile yarn from the center. The glue can protect the filling from drawing out.
